“Cuddle Critter” Sound Machine

Conair aimed to extend its sound therapy range into the children’s category, repositioning the products as giftable sleep companions for young families and strengthening their presence within baby gift registries.

The creative direction introduced a character-led system designed to bring warmth and emotional familiarity to bedtime routines. A cast of original animal characters was paired with bold, playful colorways, transforming each device into a distinct, collectible object. The characters were screen printed directly onto the products, reinforcing personality at the product level.

The system extended into packaging through expressive illustration and youthful graphic language, reframing the line as approachable, emotionally resonant objects rather than functional sleep devices.

This shift helped deepen emotional attachment and reposition the range as a go-to gift within the children’s sleep category.
