3Q “Imagine…” campaign
3Q marked Conair’s shift into a more elevated expression of performance, reframing speed and efficiency through calm, beauty-led simplicity. The campaign moved away from technical communication toward a restrained visual language designed to feel emotionally resonant, confident, and modern. Across print and large-scale environmental placements, the system used minimal composition and clarity of message to create a sense of quiet luxury in a high-noise retail environment.
“set yourself free” campaign
This Infiniti Pro print campaign was developed to build awareness of Conair’s emerging premium sub-brand within nationally syndicated beauty publications including Allure, Elle, and Cosmopolitan. Positioned at the intersection of mass retail and aspirational beauty, the objective was to elevate perception beyond product features and establish a more emotionally driven brand identity.
The campaign shifted focus away from product-forward communication in favor of a full-bleed, model-led visual system designed to express confidence, freedom, and ease. Hair was treated as a secondary cue to the primary emotional signal: expressive, joyful imagery capturing a sense of release and self-assurance.
“Come Home to Conair” — Brand Campaign
Developed for trade and retail-facing publications, Come Home to Conair reframed the brand beyond product manufacturing, redefining the product as part of the emotional fabric of everyday American life. The campaign was built around the idea that Conair’s longstanding market presence had made its products a familiar part of daily routines across generations and households.
A collage-based visual system paired residential imagery with intimate, anonymously cropped moments of personal preparation and grooming, framing Conair products as quiet fixtures within people’s daily lives. The resulting campaign emphasized warmth, recognition, and emotional familiarity over traditional product-driven communication, reinforcing Conair’s stature as an enduring retail and beauty partner.
Conair trade campaign series
Developed for trade publications including HomeWorld Business, this campaign series supported Conair’s annual retail initiatives by spotlighting key “big bet” product launches through a more elevated visual and verbal approach. Rather than relying on traditional sales-driven communication, the campaign paired dramatically lit product compositions with bold editorial-style statements designed to create memorability, intrigue, and emotional impact within a trade advertising environment.
Each spread juxtaposed striking typography against cinematic product imagery, reframing mass-market beauty and grooming tools through a more aspirational lens. Headlines such as “Tour de Force” and “For Beauty and the Beast” introduced a sense of personality and narrative, allowing the featured products to feel iconic, expressive, and culturally relevant beyond their functional category positioning.
“Teaming Up With Tradition”
Boston Red Sox Program Ad
Created for placement in the Boston Red Sox collector program, this campaign coincided with Conair’s 50th anniversary and leveraged the shared cultural weight of two enduring American institutions: baseball and daily consumer regimen. The objective was to present a multi-product feature advertisement that could communicate scale while reinforcing brand heritage within a single-page format.
The concept, “Teaming Up With Tradition,” placed Conair alongside the legacy of American baseball fandom, framing both as long-standing fixtures within everyday life. The visual system reimagined featured products as a set of baseball trading cards, transforming each item into a collectible artifact. This baseball card structure resolved also the challenge of presenting eight distinct products within a single-page layout, while transforming the constraint into a cohesive narrative system rooted in nostalgia, recognition, and cultural familiarity.
Across the layout, the campaign framed Conair not simply as a product manufacturer, but as part of a broader American tradition of familiarity, longevity, ritual.
